Research is a significant portion of my life.  Conducting, reviewing, and critiquing research studies and research designs not only adds to the body of engineering education knowledge, but also enhances my ability to contribute to the field.  As a faculty member, research is critical to my growth, success, and career. Developing and refining my research skills while capitalizing on the support and mentoring that my colleagues provide enhances my ability to independently conduct research. I do my best to keep this page as up-to-date as possible, but for the most up-to-date information see my **** C.V. ****

I regularly participate in conferences (i.e., publishing and presenting) such as the VentureWell Open, Kern Entrepreneurial Engineering Network, American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) Annual Conference & Exposition, American Society for Engineering Management (ASEM) International Annual Conference, and the Frontiers in Education (FIE) keep me connected to the current research progess and methods as well as obtain feedback and create research partnerships. In prior work, I've explored faculty members' experiences with technology transfer and commercialization at land-grant institutions. In this work, I utilized a multiple case study design to explore faculty members' experiences, institutional supports and barriers for academic entrepreneurship, and policy implications associated with technology transfer and academic entrepreneurship.
